Blood, Sweat and Beers: How One Man Overcame a Complete Lack of Ability to Represent His Country

Mick Colliss

When washed-up sportsman Mick Colliss discovered there was no Australian team at the World Sudoku Championships, he did what any 42-year-old with unfulfilled dreams of international glory would do – applied to the World Puzzle Federation, became the sole selector, then picked himself and three rugby mates in the first ever Australian sudoku team – despite none of them knowing how to play. They deck themselves out in a national uniform and travel to India to compete for their country, with hilarious results.
