Headache

Tanieth Kerr

AJ doesn’t like karaoke, but she does like the girl who asked her to go. She wasn't always like this. Before her dad’s brain injury she would have jumped at the chance to go, but now everything is different. Lost and unsure, AJ is trying to patch her life back together with chicken nuggets, karaoke and a really cute girl from her literature seminar. Written and performed by Tanieth Kerr, this play explores family, loss, the effects of brain injury, the mortality of parents and working up the courage to go to karaoke.
