How do you look non-binary? Everyday your brain is bombarded by images and opinions about your body. At the centre of a lot of this discourse sits the nipple. They are sexualised and politicised, a symbol of liberation and a symbol of oppression, something to flaunt and something to cover. The non-binary nipple embodies all of these at once. What might happen if they just didn’t exist? I Cut My Nipples Off Today asks why someone would take such drastic measures to make their body match the image in their mind.
