Chris has been having horrid thoughts – thoughts that led to his break-up with Anya, thoughts that have since kept him from reaching out to Len. One night, Chris sulks in his flat. Desperate for someone to talk to, he returns a phone call from his best friend for the first time in four weeks. Len, a part-time Elvis impersonator, isn’t impressed. ‘Pay me,’ he says. ‘Okay,’ says Chris. Now, Len is on his way and Chris is panicking. What if he can’t find Len from underneath the pompadour and jumpsuit? What if he loses his friend forever?
