Frat

Namesake Theatre

A new, provocative play exploring brotherhood, masculinity and moral ambiguity continues its run at the Edinburgh Fringe. What does it mean to belong? How far will someone go to prove their loyalty? And when does tradition become toxic? Frat is a sharp, bold and dark exploration of power, peer pressure and the unspoken codes that govern male friendships. Set inside an American fraternity, the play follows young men as they navigate brutal initiation rituals, shifting allegiances and the fine line between camaraderie and coercion.
