The Umbrella Man and Other Stories: What We Talk About When We Talk About the JFK Assassination

Martin Fitzgerald

24 - 29 Aug
The main event in Dallas on 22 November 1963 was meant for Main Street – the place to be, where the crowds gathered. These are the stories of people who opted out and went to Dealey Plaza, becoming accidental witnesses to the most scrutinised six seconds in history. They explore memory, how we construct history and what happens when life is defined by a single fleeting moment.
